How do you respond to Nintendo naming thier next-generation gaming console "Wii" (pronounced 'we')?
Formerly codenamed the Nintendo "Revolution", Here is the explanation:
"Introducing... Wii.
As in "we."
While the code-name Revolution expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer. Wii will break down that wall that seperates videogame players from everybody else. Wii will put people more in touch with their games... and each other. But you're probably asking: What does the name mean?
Wii sounds like "we," which emphasizes the console is for everyone. Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii.
Wii has a distinctive "ii" pelling that symbolizes both the unique controllers and the image of people playing it. And Wii, as a name and a console, brings something revolutionary to the world of videogames that sets it apart from the crowd.
So that's Wii. But now Nintendo needs you. Because it's really not about you or me. It's about Wii. And together, Wii will change everything."

To a portion, yet majority, of sports fans?
Why do you follow sports? When was the last time you played that sport? If you like the sport so much, why dont you go play it more?
This question targets fans who play the sport three to five times a YEAR but then partcipiate in the hype during play-off season. They gorge themselves with beer, hotdogs and greasy food while contributing nothing to the team they are cheering for. If they are such a huge fan of sports, dont you think they'd be a bit more fit instead sporting a beer gut?
Professional sports is overrated and players that are disgruntled at their "mere" $5 million dollar salary does not deserve my respect. If there can be professional sports players, then there can be professional videogame players. OH WAIT, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE PROFESSIONAL VIDEOGAME PLAYERS., LET ME GO ON A RANT ON THEM!!!
