What soundcard is best for me?
I recently bought a new PC, and while the on board soundcard has good quality audio, the control panel interface is difficult to navigate and it isn't capable of doing what I need.
Now of course you're probably wondering what I need.
Basically, I need to be able to isolate game sound, voice chat, and my microphone into separate channels. I need to do this because I am planning to start a multiplayer video game series, where the camera jumps to different people's views. Therefore I need each person's recorded microphone, which I will edit together for better quality chat in the video. I also need each person's game sound, so I can use it when I cut to their camera angle, and I also need to isolate voice chat (steam, Ventrillo, etc.) So that I can hear it through a pair of headphones, but it is not recorded along with my game sound.
Now the other people in my gaming group are able to record these separately with their ultra fancy on board sound cards, but I can not.
So yeah, I need a sound card with 3 or 4 different sound channels that can be recorded separately, and preferably (although not technically needed) the ability to hear all the sound through one set of headphones.
Is this too much to ask?

how do I fix the lag on my LCD HDTV when I play video games?
i have a philips 48" TV, and when i hook up my xbox 360 to it, to play, there is significant lag between my controller and the TV. i have researched this, and so far what i have seen that helps people is putting the TV in Game mode, turning off the 120hz, and changing the display on the xbox from 1080p to 720p. i've done all of these but the lag has only improved a little bit, so how to i fix this problem? because it is extremely frustrating that i can't play my xbox on my big tv.
ps. the xbox works perfectly fine on all of the other tvs in my house.

Is this a bad sign for our relationship?
I'm not sure what information is important or not, so I'm gonna say all I can.
I'm 13, and I asked out my girlfriend on December 31 over text. She told me to keep our relationship secret, especially from my closest friend. We are the perfect match, we both love video games and all sorts of other things. She is the one girl who really understands me, and I do my best to understand her. I love her with all my heart, and I never want to let her go. Lately she's been a little nervous around me, though. She will occasionally say she's gonna sit with her other friends, so I hang out with my best friend. Speaking of him, my best friend annoys her everyday. He figured out that we were dating, and he hints at it, but never tells her. My girlfriend and I haven't said a thing about our relationship since the day it began, and I'm getting worried. Can someone tell me whether or not I should worry?
