Do you think that people get desensitised to violence from bible reading?
Someone just said that Christians view rape as more morally acceptable than atheism and it made me wonder. Parents often link violent behaviour in teenagers to watching horror movies and playing violent video games. The bible is extremely violent and also justifies this violence and worships the god who perpetrates it. Could this be a reason that violent crime is so much higher in countries with a lot of Christians? Scarlet, maybe in some cases. I am in the UK and my daughter was taught that God drowned nearly every animal and person on the planet and should be worshipped anyway when she was 5. I shall ask about this.
