My 9 year old daughter flipped her teacher off. What kind of punishment at home do you think is appropriate?
keep in mind, my daughter is generally well behaved, but she has always been difficult and has some trouble with her temper. I would say she is fairly normal but I am having her checked out for any ADHD or other problems with her Dr soon. We punished her by having her write an apology to her teacher, and grounded her from ALL electronic entertainment for 4 days (tv, video games, radio, music etc). Do you think that was a good response to her actions?

What was the name of this reality show?
It was on a few years ago. They took families and had them live in the woods. As though they had lived back when there was no electricity, no running water, etc. The men and boys worked (chopping wood and such) while the women and girls took care of the house (cooking, cleaning, sewing). I can remember the kids having to walk to school and being angry and bored having had no computer/video games, radio, t.v. etc. I think it may have been on PBS. Thanks in advance.
