Looking for a video game system?
Do not include these systems : Game Boy Adv, 3DS, Wii and Xbox 360 (getting rid of my 360) So what I am looking for is a system that I can talk to my friends with Play with my friends AND strangers And something that can't break easily (Meaning like the R.R.O.D)

9 video game systems too much? for a girl?
I went to a classmates house for a group project and no lie her roommate had like 9 videos game systems and about 20-30 of the best games per system. she had an Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Wii (and GameCube games compatible on it), xbox360, sega genesis, ps2, game boy advance, and Nintendo64. I thought it was a little much, especially for a girl. and she's not fat either. I met her. hot body and super active with law school and a job but seriously? guys what would you think of a girl like this?

how old is too old for elementary school?
my cousin is turning 14 this September (just before the cut off for the school year). he started out a year older than his peers because of this. well, he failed sixth last year for refusing to do any work. the child sits at his desk and refuses to do ANY work whatsoever, homework included. he ends up in alternative school at least twice a year. he is now starting his THIRD year of sixth grade and will be 14 when it starts. can they really allow to compete with the small children in gym and such? you would think that would become a safety issue. they have tried tutoring, he refuses to cooperate or pay attention. his grandma lets him play video games instead. she said he is just more motivated by this video game systems. she asked me to tutor him for awhile, but i gave up after a few months. the child ignored me and threw any work back at me. i am not wasting my time on a teen who refuses to learn. when he does the work, he gets B's. but the problem is giving him motivation to do anything but stare at a screen. won't the school eventually pass him along to get him out of sixth grade? he also has been arrested several times for vandalism and grandma says boys will be boys. i am not angry at the child, i am angry at the grandmother for allowing this. he is only behaving this way because he was allowed from a small child to do whatever he wanted. she is only hurting his future. i try to explain to him how important education is. i just cannot stand to see the "adult" not stepping in.
