My best friend's son told me he loved me & im like his father, what should I do? Im really uncomfortable?
I'm in a really strange situation here, to start I'm 32 years old, and don't have a job, don't have a serious girlfriend, and well I live and get supported by my best friend from high school and her husband who are rich. So I'm not exactly a great guy, believe me I know. But I have this friend who is the daughter of a friend of my mother and father and we have been friends since we were younger, she is 30 years old and has an 8 year old son. Now I've pretty much been there throughout his youth all his life, I was there when he was born and I was there for other things, I kinda felt like a cool uncle. Well when he was 2 years old his father died in a boating accident, and he never really trully knew his father, I did, and he was a great man, much better than me, but over the years I still spent time with the kid as in babysitting him and taking his mother and grandmother out to eat every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I know it's weird but I enjoyed spending time with them and even spent a lot of money on them with the allowance I used to get from my parents before they kicked me out and the allowance I get from my friend's husband now. So lets just say I've spent a lot of time with the kid and his family throughout his life, I've been on vacations with them, I've gone to his school events, and we see each other every week. I guess I always saw him as a little brother, and I always saw his mother and grandmother only as a good friend never as anything else. Well now here is my problem, the other day I took the kid to the movies and out for ice cream and we had a great time, and then when I was dropping him off at his house he told me quote "wow I love you Kyle you're like my dad" I didn't know what to say, I just said I love you back a patted him on the head but I was completely shocked by that, I mean me? someone's dad? heck even my own dad tells me I'm like a child, and I mean even though I've been spending time with this kid and buying him stuff since he was younger I never saw him as a son or me as a dad, I mean, I saw myself as a cool uncle, cousin, or cool older brother. Now I'm really confused and sad. I mean could I have accidentally given the impression to this kid that I was his father? I mean I love him but come on I'm not in any position to be anyone's father, I mean I feel like I need a father sometimes. I feel really bad, I'm not a good a good person at all! I shouldn't be anyone's father figure, I mean I'm a leech to everyone, I don't have a job, I'm an alcoholic (I'm not drunk everyday but I get drunk every week), I smoke, I sit around all day watching TV and playing video games, I'm selfish, I act like a rich snob despite myself not being rich just my friends and my parents, I can't hold down a serious relationship and most of the time I just sleep with random women I pick up at clubs and the few times I've had girlfriends I cheat on them, last time I actually tried to have a serious relationship she broke up with me after calling me a shallow sociopathic loser, and to top it off I actually from time to time try drugs at clubs. So I should not in any way be this kid's role model or father figure, I mean I'm a terrible and immature person, if anything I should have a father figure, which I kind of do sadly apart from my father, my friend's husband treats me like his son, and now I don't know what to do, I mean I have to take him, his mother and his grandmother out to eat tomorrow and to the movies and how am I supposed to act normal after he told me I'm like his father and he loved me! What should I do here? I feel really strange about this whole thing, I mean I was the cool uncle, now I'm the father? I'm thinking maybe I should stop spending time with them, I mean I'd hate to ruin the kid or something because of how I am, although I'd really miss them, I mean they apart from my other friend and her husband are the only people that like me, but why would I be considered a father to him, I mean come one I'm only 32. Please give me some advice! I'm really scared about this whole situation, I mean the night after he told me that, I was so nervous in my room that I couldn't even watch TV.

Any ideas for a graduation gift for my boyfriend?
My boyfriend and I are graduating high school in about a week, We will be heading to separate colleges in the fall that are a little less than 2 hours apart. I was planning on framing a picture of the two of us for him to have for his dorm and getting him a t-shirt from my college but I feel like I need to do a little bit more than that. He doesn't play video games or wear any type of jewelry. He's a pretty serious golfer so much of his golf things come from different golf companies trying to get him to buy their things. I have no idea what else to get him!! I was thinking about getting him a ralph lauren shirt but sizes are weird on him and he literally has to try EVERYTHING on. HELPPPP

What is wrong with my mother. Does she have a mental disease?
Hello, I live in a Nuclear Family (Mother Father And 2 biological children;my brother and I. I have always lived with my parents however this year I went away to college. Upon my return I started to realized things about my mother I hadn't realized before since I had been away for so long from the life i was so accustomed to. I have been home 2 weeks now and it unbearable to even be in my home. My younger brother and I both do well in school, and we're responsible adults. In these last 2 weeks, I have realized that when my mother comes home from work around 4pm, the attitude of the 3 men living here completely changes as soon as she pulls into the driveway. She walks in and usually starts whining about her day at work and how horrible it was, then she proceeds to find every negative thing she can talk about and get under your skin about it. Day after day she tells my brother and I that we treat her like shit. Here is one thing that happened today. My brother and I went out to get pizza. She told us what to order(slices) for the four of us. We forgot 1 of her 2 slices and she started screaming about how ignorant we were and that we treat her like shit. i offered one of my own slices to her, even though my brother was the one who forgot to order it and then she called us both pieces of shit and threw a pizza box at us after we tried to calm her down. Earlier in the week, I was on a search for a job and every day I have gone to the place of work and submitted 3 applications. I have done laundry every day, and today I even got a job earlier today. Every day as soon as she gets home, she tells me about how i don't do anything all day and how all I do is play video games. In this entire week, I have logged in 3 hours of. Gameplay from monday to now (wednesday night). I double that time filling out work applications or doing laundry. I also have chores to do around the house, all of which I complete on a daily basis. I have acne and I wash my face 2 times a day every day. She proceeds to remind me every day that i never wash my face. There is so much more I can tell you about but i'm too lazy to type it all out at the moment. I'll be sure to add more to this as time passes, but for now, I would like to know if anyone out there knows if this relates to some kind of mental illness? She is also "sick" every day and loses her voice weekly from screaming at us. She has headaches extremely often and is very lazy and obese. she is in her late 40s. Thank you for your help.
