Three Rules For Buying Bulk Video Games

Buying and reselling bulk video games can be quite a profitable business if you know what you are doing. Some people get frustrated when they are trying to find legitimate video game suppliers but they just keep finding high prices or counterfeits from fake gaming distributors.

The problems end up coming when you find the hot selling games, but you cant purchase them priced low enough to profit from them. Many people who run into this end up buying a gaming list. Watch out for these lists, most of them are a waste of money as they are full of suppliers that have either gone out of business or the contact information is out of date, also many are not legitimate sources.

The key to purchasing your products is to have buying power. You get a better price break on discount video games when you buy a higher volume.
If you know what you are doing, you can be profitable purchasing and reselling bulk video games. However, it can be frustrating trying to find legitimate suppliers of video games. You have to weed out all the counterfeits, high prices, and fake gaming distributors.

Where you can run into problems is when you are sure that you have found a great selling game, but you can't find it at a low enough price to make a profit. So, you try purchasing a gaming list off the internet. This ends up being a dead end, as your list is full of so called suppliers, that are not legitimate, they have gone out of business, or the contact information is no good.

The key to purchasing your products is to have buying power. You get a better price break on wholesale video games when you buy a higher volume.

Here are three rules you should know when buying discount video games.

1. Know what is hot in your market. Which games and gaming systems are top sellers, and what does not sell well.

2. Make sure that you know about your supplier. Make sure they are providing authentic products. Build a relationship with them. If they are a good supplier they will want to help you to succeed. The should offer you insight into the gaming market. Some offer tools or training for your benefit. If they offer these, make sure to take advantage of them. The more you know, the more you can avoid those costly mistakes.

3. You need to have a good marketing plan to sell your products. Where will you be selling them? Do you have a brick and mortar store or a flea market booth, or are you going to be using online sources such as Amazon, eBay or your own website? Make sure that you know what products you will be selling, what price you need to buy them at and what your profit margin will be.

Although these rules may sound simple and basic, they are still important to the success of your business. Now that you are armed with this information, why not start down the road to success reselling bulk video games?

Is £5 ($8) too cheap for 100 Pokemon cards?
I've been selling old stuff on eBay to try and make some money. I've mainly being selling old video games, clothes and Pokemon cards. So far I've made £450 in nearly 2 months which I'm obviously pleased with, but I was wondering... Is £5 (about 8 dollars) too cheap for a bundle of 100 Pokemon cards? That's what I've been selling bundles of 100 Pokemon cards for on eBay. Most of the cards are nothing too special, I'm trying to sell the ultra rare ones like the EX cards separately. The thing is, I put up 6 for sale about a week ago and they all sold out within 3 days of me putting them up, someone even brought 2 bundles in one go. The fact that they were selling like sale items on black Friday has got me wondering, is £5 just a bit too cheap for 100 cards and should I jack up the price a bit? Also keep in mind that all of the cards are old and have been previously used, though none of them are in seriously poor conditions. I've still got 8 more lots (800 cards) to sell. P.S. Sorry about the iffy categorisation on this, wasn't too sure where to put it. Thanks for the responses so far. In response to Sam: The cards vary a lot, I've got quite a lot of cards from 1998 all the way up to 2007. I think most of them are from around 2003-2004 though since I have LOADS of cards from the EX Ruby & Sapphire and EX FireRed & LeafGreen sets. In response to Jeff: There are a couple of black star rare cards in the bundles I think, but nothing too valuable. I've got a photo up on the ebay page for the cards, but it just shows some common, uncommon and 3 or 4 black star rare cards. But I have stated in the description that it's just an example picture and that they probably won't receive the cards in the photo.

How can I make money within like 4 days?
Hi, me and my friends are 12 years old and we really need to earn money in a few days. We want to raise $350 each so we can go to a concert this weekend. It's pretty cold out so we can't do like a lemonade stand or a car wash, and our neighbors don't have dogs that we could walk or kids that we could babysit. I don't want any of the links to the websites to earn money online. The ideas we have so far are selling our old video games at game stop and having like a craft sale. No mean or inappropriate answers please
