Real video game tester jobs...?
Hey, uh, my nephew is like REALLY good at video games... Where can he get an actual video game testing job? (I tried googling it, but all I get is junk-sites)

I'm not a complete moron, you know.
I know what beta-testing entails (I'm going into the video game design field, currently working on my degree) and beta testers have to be good enough to kick the game's butt (like I probably wouldn't be at all the FPS games he plays) and they find & report glitches, problems, etc and the overall appeal of the game (like if it's WAY too easy, the team who made it might want to add some difficult levels to it or something, etc) not to mention the marketing research involved.
My question was about how to find testing jobs, not about what they are. Again, I'm not stupid.
It's not like I'm going to walk into every video-game-company in the state & say "Hey, got any testing jobs available?"... there has to be SOME kind of job-search-resource for it.
btw, if he wanted to be a journalist, he'd be interested in actually reviewing the games. He's not. (He isn't big on effort in english class)
And also, if he's FIFTEEN, what makes you think he'd go to school to review games for a living anyway??? Fifteen year olds play video games, if they're really good, they might find glitches or "boiling points" that others missed.... but its not really a LIFETIME type job. That's like telling someone to get an Associates degree in Business if they ever want to work at McDonalds. Yes, some people work there forever, but most DON'T.
