It's a lot I understand...But when is the right time to come out of your shell and date?
Okay. So I'm 13 and I'm having a little trouble in Middle School. I really like these two guys, and I know it will never work out but I always day dream about them hoping one day it will come true. I have had bad experiences with a boy whom I asked out because I knew he wasn't going to. It was my 20 seconds of courage and I wasted it on him. It was really awkward because I had never had a boyfriend before and I didn't know how to act. Naturally he dumped me. Well, he sent SOMEONE ELSE to tell me we were breaking up. Our friendship was totally destroyed. I don't want to ask out these boys and have an awkward relationship where we only see each other at school. I'd much rather date them and see them on the weekends and junk like that. I'm moving in June which is really sad. I have all the advice I've learned over time and I know what to do, but I'm just a really shy person. I'm also a little on the chubby side but I've lost about 18 pounds without trying that hard. I'm still not at the correct weight range for my age and height. I'm about 5'6" or so. And I'm 150 pounds. Not too healthy. I'm a really honest sweet girl who just doesn't know her place. I love books and geeking out in the kitchen every once and awhile perfecting my favorite foods. Sure I don't have a fancy game console but I really like video games. I'm actually quite socially awkward at my school. Everyone thinks I'm weird because I act differently, sort of on purpose. It's more of a shell I've created between me and the outside world, so no one except for me knows how I truly act. I really don't like asking out boys, because it makes me feel even more awkward, trying to control the situation. I'm a real spacer. I love to space out and day dream in class. (side note lol) I guess the real question is, should I wait until high school to date? When I do move, I don't want to make the mistake of making people think of me as a freak, or a weird person. I want to be myself. But there are so many hard challenges around the corner, even in Middle School! It's almost as bad as High School. I've heard many good stories and enough bad stories to outweigh the good. I don't mind being single because whenever you turn there's always the one who catches your eye, and you can say whatever you want in your mind. Nobody is restricting you to what you can and can't think about. Also, you can have as many friendships with people who are just like you and share equalities, but it does get lonely from time to time. I'm trying to find new ways to express myself. Blogs, music, painting, drawing, swimming. But even to a 13 year old girl, the world can seem like a cold harsh place to be in.

Been dating for several months, but only act like a couple when completely alone.?
The purpose of dating someone is to be able to show your feelings to them and have them show them back right? Let me explain. My gf and i are kinda secret, my group of friends know, but they know not to tell anyone, and my dad, stepmom, brother, and closest cousin know too, but my parents disapprove of her/me dating (they think she's possesive of me, but i know that isn't true, because she doesn't get angry/touchy when this other guy tries to flirt with me >.< and she encourages me to hang out with my other friends if i want to), so i'm afraid of inviting her over sometimes. At school we only hug, we haven't kissed on the lips yet, but at my house we'll hold hands, kiss on the cheek, cuddle, and just plain hang out/play video games. I really want to stay in the relationship, but really we have only been dating like a 1.5 weeks, because that's how many times she has comes over, and the only time we act like a couple. I'm pretty sure if i tell her i want to hang out more than she won't object, but i have a really big respect for my parents even though i'm a teen, and whenever i try to kiss her i feel like i'll be breaking one of their federal, big laws, make sense? So should i just break up with her? Also, she keeps on thinking that when i'm sad it's her fault, and then get all depressed, so i don't know if breaking up will help... What should i do?? I need help because i don't know if i can tell anyone about alll this stuff, because it's a lot. Also, do you think i'm too young for this? Should i just wait and see what happens in the relationship? Should i talk to my parents? I kinda want adults to answer this, because i'm hoping they have more like wisdom than i do, but teens can too i guess. Also, i always think about other people instead of me, so what's probably best for me right now? Because that's what i'm really struggling with. Thanks. :)
